What to Expect
Initial consultations last 1 hour and cost £77. Subsequent treatments are 30 minutes long and cost £59. Home visits are £100.
During an initial consultation a full and detailed case history will be taken including both the condition you have come with, your general health and your past medical history. I'd like to know about past operations, dentistry, accidents, and trauma. If you have any blood test results, scans or X-rays relating to your condition it would be helpful to see them. Next a full assessment will help me determine whether your problem is suitable for osteopathic intervention and if so what treatment will best help you. It will be necessary to see your spine and other joints moving and to palpate them. For this, undressing to your underwear or wearing loose fitting clothes are easiest. We will talk about my conclusions and treatment plan, including specific exercises and advice which can help you manage your condition. If you have forgotten to ask something or have any questions following the session please do not hesitate to contact me. You are welcome to bring a friend or relative to the session. Children under 18 will need to be accompanied by their parent or carer.
